Ukrainian seaports almost halved grain exports in June

Ukrainian seaports shipped 1.95 million tonnes of grain in June 2020, down 47% from May. Wheat shipments fell about fivefold to 214,000 tonnes, and corn exports dropped 37% to 1.54 million tonnes.

Barley shipments rose 38%.

Lower Black Sea export availability from Ukraine tightens world supply of corn and feed grains, which supports prices for buyers.
