U.S. officials say a ransomware attack on meatpacker JBS was likely carried out from Russia. JBS plants have remained closed, and U.S. beef and pork prices were already rising as China increased imports and feed costs climbed.
Analysts say consumer impact depends on how long the plants stay shut.
