FranceAgriMer reported that 92% of French soft wheat was rated good or excellent as of 7 March, down slightly from 93% a week earlier but above last year's 88%. Winter barley and durum wheat also held favourable ratings, at 89% and 88%.
Strong French crop conditions cap upside in European wheat and barley, though emerging dryness in western and central France is worth watching for later yield risk.
