French farmers had nearly finished soft wheat and winter barley sowing by November 14, with about 98% of crops in good or excellent condition, according to FranceAgriMer. Durum sowing was 74% complete and grain maize harvest ended after a three-decade production low.
Good crop condition supports adequate EU wheat supply, which is mildly bearish, while the small maize crop offers modest support for EU feed corn prices.
