Russia will raise its sunflower oil export duty by 41% to $525/tonne from 1 June, and the sunflower meal duty rises 9% to $105/tonne. The measures follow earlier export controls and quotas on sunflower oil and meal.
Higher Russian export duties reduce sunflower oil and meal exports to world markets, tightening supply and supporting prices for sunflower and other vegetable oils and meals.
