Consultancy Agritel raised its estimate for France's 2022 soft wheat crop slightly to 33.63 million tonnes, still below the five-year average. It forecast the French maize harvest at 10.8 million tonnes, the smallest of the 21st century, after heatwaves and the worst drought on record.
