Palm oil futures in Malaysia rose to a three-week high on flooding in southern states that could cut output and expectations of higher Indonesian consumption as Jakarta plans to curb domestic oil sales. Chicago soybean oil gained 1.1% on dry-weather forecasts for Argentina, while Brent fell 2.9% to $84.9/bbl on rate-hike expectations.
Supply risk from Malaysian flooding and Indonesian policy supports palm and soy oil prices, while weaker crude and rate expectations cap gains.
