Longshore workers at British Columbia's seaports voted to accept a new four-year labour deal, ending five weeks of disruption at Canada's West Coast. The ILWU Canada ratification vote returned 74.66% in favor.
The federal labour and transport ministers said they would review how the disruption unfolded.
The four-year contract reduces the risk of future port stoppages, which supports more predictable Canadian export flows and freight costs for feed buyers.
