MARS raised its 2025 EU soft wheat yield forecast to 6.05 t/ha from 6.04 t/ha, citing strong expectations in southern Europe. It also lifted barley to 5.23 t/ha, trimmed rapeseed to 3.17 t/ha, and nudged grain maize up to 7.46 t/ha, while warning dry weather threatens northern EU yields.
A higher EU wheat and barley crop estimate increases exportable supply and is bearish for feed grain prices, although dryness in France and the Benelux limits the downside.
