Eurostat data showed euro-zone inflation rose to 2.5% in March from 1.9% in February, below the 2.7% Reuters poll forecast. Core inflation eased from 2.4% to 2.3%, and the increase was attributed to higher energy prices following the Iran war that began February 28.
