Illinois Farm Policy News reports that USDA has obligated over $6 billion of the $12 billion Farmer Bridge Assistance program, based on AgWeek reporting. Corn and soybean producers make up the largest share of applications, with the Midwest leading enrollment.
This restates the same USDA aid update already reported by Agweek, so it adds little new market information beyond supporting farm liquidity for Midwest row crops.
