The JRC MARS bulletin reports European winter crops are restarting growth under generally favourable soil moisture and mild temperatures. Excess February rain caused local waterlogging in south-western and eastern Europe, while emerging precipitation deficits in north-eastern Europe need monitoring.
Favourable crop development supports expectations of adequate EU grain supply, which is mildly bearish for feed grain prices, though emerging dryness in the northeast could change that if it persists.
