Indonesia is adopting its B50 biodiesel mandate this week, months ahead of schedule, requiring biofuels to make up 50% of diesel blend up from 40%. Indonesian biofuel producers say meeting demand through 2027 will be difficult without capacity expansion, and fuel retailers must start selling the higher blend by Oct 1.
