Indonesia's chief economic minister said he is confident palm oil output can be raised to meet biofuel demand. The government plans to raise the biodiesel blend from 35% to 40% palm-based fuel (B40) in 2025, with further increases expected.
A higher mandatory biodiesel blend diverts more palm oil into fuel, tightening export supply and supporting palm oil prices.
