Indonesia set its August 2025 crude palm oil reference price at $872.27 per tonne, which raises the export tax to $52 per tonne. Export duties on refined products also rose, while the biodiesel levy was temporarily suspended to reduce inventories.
Higher export taxes make Indonesian palm oil dearer on world markets and can reduce export volumes, which supports global palm and other vegetable oil prices.
