EPA finalized 2026 biomass-based diesel RVO at roughly 5.4 billion gallons, up from 3.35 billion in 2025. Industry groups say the increase could push soybean oil demand to record levels, with some projecting biofuels consuming about half of U.S. soybean oil production.
