USDA data show US agricultural and food exports to China reached a record $40.9 billion in 2022, up 14.5% from the prior year. Bulk products such as soybeans and corn led the list, with record beef and poultry sales as well.
Sustained Chinese demand for US bulk products supports US soybean and corn export flows. The effect on prices is incremental because the figures are retrospective.
