Soybean crushing in Argentina has not recovered after the 2022/23 drought, with September crush at a 22-year low. Soymeal demand has shifted to the US, lifting CBOT soymeal futures about 21.7% in one month while soyoil prices came under pressure.
Diverted export demand to US meal supports soymeal prices, while higher US meal output from crushing pushes soyoil prices lower.
