Indian soymeal is being offered at about $580-585 per tonne FOB for March shipments, versus $598 for Argentine supply, according to exporters. Bangladesh, Vietnam and Nepal are buying Indian meal because it is cheaper and freight is lower.
Argentina's drought-cut output has lifted South American meal prices and opened a price gap that pulls demand toward Indian exports. This supports soymeal prices while Argentine supply stays tight.
