China's soybean oil exports to India are surging, with a record 70,877 tonnes shipped in October and 329,000 tonnes in the first ten months of the year. Chinese soyoil is priced below South American supply and can reach India's east coast in 10-12 days versus 50-60 days from Brazil and Argentina.
Growing Chinese export flows divert soyoil into India at competitive prices, adding supply to the Asian vegetable oil market and pressuring South American soyoil premiums.
