Russia exported 2.026 million tons of major grains in July 2026, down 37.6% year on year, with wheat down 17.7%. The steepest drop came in the third ten-day period of July after drone damage to Taman port infrastructure.
Grain exports moved through only 21 ports versus 38 a year earlier.
A sharp fall in Russian export volumes removes a major share of world supply, tightening wheat, corn and barley availability and supporting world prices and freight rates.
