Oil futures rallied on Monday after the US and China agreed to temporarily cut tariffs for 90 days, with the US tariff on Chinese imports set at 30% and China's on US imports at 10%. WTI rose above $63 and Brent above $65, and ULSD and RBOB also gained.
The tariff reduction lifts crude and product prices by easing recession fears and trade disruption, which raises diesel and energy costs for feed buyers.
