June Nymex natural gas settled 10.7 cents higher at $2.030 on Monday as Freeport LNG restarted its third train and feed gas deliveries rose to about 12.84 Bcf/d. Lower-48 production was estimated near 97.5 Bcf/d, below February highs.
Stronger LNG feed gas demand and supply interruptions in the Permian tighten the domestic gas balance, supporting natural gas prices. The effect on feed ingredients is indirect, mainly through energy and fertilizer costs.
After 54 past bullish logistics events, Natural Gas moved a median -1.8% over 5 sessions (43% higher; middle half -5.7% to +6.2%), and +5.1% over 20.

Freeport LNG's third train restart lifted feed gas demand to about 12.84 Bcf/d while production slipped to about 97.5 Bcf/d, a tighter supply-demand balance that drove the front-month rally above $2 on April 29.
