US natural gas futures rose about 10% to a two-week high on Monday after Berkshire Hathaway's Cove Point LNG plant returned from maintenance. Freeport LNG was still offline after a June pipeline explosion and was expected back in early to mid-November.
Returning LNG export capacity increases feedgas demand and supports US gas prices. Freeport's delayed restart is a further upside risk for prices.
After 54 past bullish logistics events, Natural Gas moved a median -1.8% over 5 sessions (43% higher; middle half -5.7% to +6.2%), and +5.1% over 20.
