Maaden reported record FY2025 DAP production of 6.723 Mt, above its roughly 6 Mtpa rated fertiliser capacity, with DAP sales of 6.749 Mt and ammonia output of 3.008 Mt. Phosphate segment revenue rose to SAR20.773B from SAR17.766B, and Phosphate 3 is expected to lift capacity toward 9 Mtpa, with first-phase additions in 2027.
A sustained jump in Saudi DAP output adds meaningful export supply to a tight phosphate market, which tends to pressure DAP prices, though Fitch expects prices to moderate. Sulphur and ammonia costs will continue to determine producer margins.
After 35 past bearish report events, DAP moved a median 0.0% over 5 sessions (37% higher; middle half -0.7% to +1.5%), and +0.6% over 20.
