Bulog distributed 180 tonnes of SPHP feed corn to representatives of 18 cooperatives in Blitar, East Java, at Rp 5,000/kg for micro-scale poultry farmers. Bulog and ID FOOD also announced staged purchases of eggs from farmers nationwide worth Rp 30 billion through December 2026.
The subsidized corn can reduce input costs for small poultry farms, while egg purchases provide an outlet for their output and support producer cash flow. The corn distribution may ease localized demand for higher-priced feed supplies.
