Indonesian authorities directed state food companies Bulog and ID Food to supply feed corn at Rp5,000 per kilogram and buy Rp30 billion of eggs through December. Bulog delivered 180 tonnes of SPHP corn to 18 cooperatives in Blitar.
The subsidised corn and egg purchases target domestic poultry costs and have little direct effect on world feed grain prices.
