PhosCo reported extensive progress at its Gasaat phosphate project in northern Tunisia, with new drilling expanding the DOH discovery and identifying a Sekarna North prospect. Maiden drilling at the KH prospect confirmed thick phosphate mineralization near the proposed plant site, and metallurgical tests produced a premium-grade concentrate.
This is an early-stage mining development with no near-term effect on phosphate supply, though a premium concentrate could support fertiliser pricing over the long run. Phosphate and DAP prices are already tight, so the news is a minor, longer-term signal.
After 38 past neutral report events, DAP moved a median +0.5% over 5 sessions (61% higher; middle half -0.5% to +1.6%), and +3.9% over 20.
