Bulog's Medan branch will finish SPHP corn distribution in November after delivering 2,616 tons of a 3,511-ton quota to 23 laying-hen farms in North Sumatra. The corn is sold at Rp5,000 per kg through Bulog warehouses to help keep feed affordable and egg prices stable.
Warehouse stock stood at 483 tons as of November 1, with additional deliveries expected.
Regional corn sales to layer farms support feed supply and help contain egg price spikes. Supply from government stocks limits the need for commercial corn purchases in that region.
After 439 past neutral policy events, Corn moved a median +0.1% over 5 sessions (51% higher; middle half -1.3% to +1.2%), and +1.1% over 20.
