The EIA reported that the average U.S. retail diesel price fell 3.5 cents to $2.489 per gallon for the week ended June 19, 2017. Midwest diesel saw the largest regional drop, at 4.3 cents, and gasoline fell 4.8 cents after several weeks of crude price declines.
Lower retail diesel prices in the Midwest reduce fuel costs for grain and feed transport, reflecting the crude slide.
After 86 past bearish report events, ULSD / Diesel moved a median -0.9% over 5 sessions (37% higher; middle half -4.3% to +0.9%), and +0.4% over 20.
