The EIA reported that the average U.S. retail diesel price fell 2.4 cents to $2.465 per gallon for the week ended June 26, 2017. Gasoline dropped 3.0 cents, and regional diesel prices declined across all five PADD regions.
The decline followed five weeks of falling crude prices.
Lower diesel prices reduce haulage and on-farm fuel costs for feed delivery, and they signal weaker crude-linked energy costs.
After 86 past bearish report events, ULSD / Diesel moved a median -0.9% over 5 sessions (37% higher; middle half -4.3% to +0.9%), and +0.4% over 20.
