U.S. ethanol exports hit a fifteen-month high in January, rising 3% to 151.2 million gallons, with Brazil's purchases nearly doubling. Undenatured shipments reached their highest volume since April 2018, while denatured sales fell to a three-month low.
DDGS exports also surged in the same period.
Stronger DDGS export shipments tighten available feed co-product supply for buyers and support DDGS prices. Ethanol export strength also supports corn demand from the processing side.
