Vietnam has culled more than 137,000 poultry across 13 provinces and cities so far in 2020 to contain bird flu. The agriculture ministry reported 43 outbreaks in two months, mostly H5N6, and 19,472 pigs culled for African swine fever.
Culling of this scale reduces local poultry and pig supply, which may modestly raise Vietnamese demand for feed ingredients such as corn and soybean meal.
