Ukrainian seaports shipped 3.4 million tonnes of grain in March 2021, up 6.5% from February. Corn exports rose 6.5% to 2.5 million tonnes, while barley exports rose 2.7 times to 188 thousand tonnes.
Wheat shipments fell 8.9%.
Steady Ukrainian corn port flows support export competition, mainly into China, and keep corn offers available. The rise in barley shipments adds to the supply of feed grain.
After 683 past bearish trade events, Corn moved a median -0.2% over 5 sessions (47% higher; middle half -1.7% to +1.6%), and +0.3% over 20.
