The Federal Reserve published its weekly H.10 foreign exchange rate table covering September 13 to 17, 2021. It lists dollar rates for major and emerging currencies, including the Brazilian real at 5.2073 to 5.2950 and the Mexican peso at 19.87 to 19.98.
The release shows currency moves across the week.
These reference rates are the basis for converting commodity prices into local currencies for feed buyers in Brazil, Mexico and other importing markets. Routine publication, so no new price driver.
Not enough comparable past events yet for a historical read.
After 40 past report events, Brazilian Real (BRL per USD) moved a median -0.1% over 5 sessions (48% higher; middle half -1.3% to +1.3%), and -0.2% over 20.
Moves of each commodity's benchmark from the last close before the event. Historical reads pool past events of the same kind; they describe what happened, not what will. Not investment advice.
