European natural gas prices fell more than 20% on Thursday as a flotilla of at least 10 US LNG cargoes headed to Europe to offset lower Russian flows. Another 20 ships were crossing the Atlantic without declared destinations.
Incoming US LNG supply eases the European supply squeeze and lowers gas-linked input costs, reducing pressure on fertilizer and energy prices.
After 24 past bearish trade events, Natural Gas moved a median +2.8% over 5 sessions (54% higher; middle half -4.5% to +7.3%), and -1.2% over 20.
