The Canadian Dairy Commission will raise the farmgate milk price by 2.8 percent, about 2.6 cents per litre, effective 1 February 2027. A carrying-charge increase brings the total cost increase for processors to 2.8245 percent.
Higher regulated milk costs support Canadian dairy processing margins and dairy-based product prices. The effect on feed demand is modest.
