EIA data show U.S. ethanol output for the week ending November 28 rose 1.2% to 1.13 million barrels per day, a new weekly record. Gasoline demand fell 4.6% to a 26-week low, while exports jumped 39% to 170,000 barrels per day.
Record plant output supports corn grind, but weaker blending demand may cap ethanol prices and margins. Higher exports offer some offset for corn demand.
After 770 past neutral report events, Corn moved a median +0.2% over 5 sessions (54% higher; middle half -1.1% to +1.6%), and +0.7% over 20.
