USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service report shows that U.S. specialty crop exports to China in 2023 were led by tree nuts at $1.2 billion. Exports of other specialty crops have declined due to improved Chinese domestic production, retaliatory tariffs, and free trade deals with Southern Hemisphere competitors.
The report covers specialty crops outside the feed-grain and oilseed complex, so it has little direct effect on feed commodity prices.
