The EIA's Short-Term Energy Outlook projects US dry natural gas production rising to a record 90.19 bcfd in 2019, up from a record 83.31 bcfd. Demand is also forecast to reach record highs in 2019.
Higher production largely offsets record demand, which limits upward price pressure. The net effect on prices depends on how the balance between supply and demand develops.
