Wheat futures plunged on Feb. 25, 2022 after Russia's invasion of Ukraine sent prices to multi-year highs the previous day.
Corn and soybeans also fell on profit-taking, with May soybeans down 69 1/2 cents and May soymeal and soyoil lower.
The war-driven rally faded as traders took profits, pulling corn and soybean complex prices lower. Analysts expected the Russia-Ukraine conflict to remain the main market focus, with limited direct impact on soybeans beyond soyoil and vegetable oils.
