The Korea Times reports that the Trump administration has pledged to combat currency devaluation and may label countries as currency manipulators. Treasury nominee Mnuchin did not rule out naming China, and South Korea could be listed as well.
A manipulator designation could push currencies such as the won and yuan higher against the dollar, raising import costs for feed buyers in those markets.
