IDH, AproSoja, ABIOVE, FEDIOL and FEFAC signed a memorandum of understanding to align actions toward responsible soy production in Brazil and trade in Europe. The parties back the Brazilian Forest Code and reference Mato Grosso targets to cut deforestation by 90 percent in the Amazon by 2030.
The agreement is a voluntary framework that is unlikely to change near-term soybean or meal flows, so its price impact is minimal.
