The EIA reported US diesel fell for a fourth consecutive week, down 0.4 cents to $2.558 per gallon, as rising US crude output offset OPEC cuts. Diesel was 55 cents above the year-earlier level.
Lower diesel costs modestly ease trucking and delivered feed costs, though the year-over-year increase remains large.
