The US dollar fell against the yen on month-end and Tokyo fixing flows as tensions with North Korea and Russia escalated. The dollar was set for a 2.2% July loss, its fifth straight monthly decline and longest losing streak since 2011.
A weaker dollar tends to support US export commodity prices in dollar terms, which is mildly supportive for feed grains and meals priced for export. The effect is modest on its own.
