The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index fell as much as 0.9% after weak US manufacturing, housing and consumer confidence data, as traders bet the Fed will slow its rate hikes. The 10-year Treasury yield dropped to 4.02% and the euro moved past parity with the dollar.
Expectations of a slower Fed pace weaken the dollar, which tends to support dollar-priced commodities and improve import affordability for feed buyers.
