USDA-NASS will release its quarterly Grain Stocks report on Friday, Sept. 29, with Sept.
1 data representing 2016-17 ending stocks. The average trade estimate is 2.246 billion bushels for corn and 339 million for soybeans, both above year-earlier levels.
Stocks above trade expectations would be bearish for corn and soybeans, while a surprise below would support prices; the report also gives clues on summer feed usage.
