Ukraine's acting agriculture minister Maksym Martyniuk said grain shipments from Ukrainian Azov Sea ports could fall if Russia takes more aggressive action. He said the impact would be limited, though freight and insurance costs could rise later.
Any drop in Azov loadings tightens Black Sea wheat supply at the margin, which supports wheat prices. The effect is seen as small and mostly future-dated, so the price impact is modest.
