CME live cattle futures fell to their lowest level in more than five weeks on Tuesday, with the June contract down 1.975 cents at 162.90 cents per pound. Economic worries after the First Republic Bank failure and debt ceiling uncertainty pressured the complex, and cash trade and boxed beef also softened.
