Rabobank says global fertilizer prices have climbed off ten-year lows in the second half of 2020, driven by strong demand in Brazil and India. It expects urea and phosphate to stay supported until early 2Q21, after which heavy supply is likely to weigh on prices.
Near-term firmness in urea and phosphate raises feed-grain production costs through the northern hemisphere season, though expected supply growth caps the upside into 2021.
